Are there any open source solutions for endpoint device management?

I am looking for an open source alternative to mobile device management (MDM) tools such as Jamf or Intune. Do you know of any open source solutions to enforce endpoint security for our employee laptops?

JupiterOne Endpoint Compliance Agent supports Netflix Stethoscope - an endpoint compliance agent. Stethoscope allows security admins to specify endpoint policies for laptops - for example, you can use Stethoscope to ensure that MacOs or Windows devices are running SentinelOne or CarbonBlack.
